SUMMARY:Fall Homeschool Day at Gibbs Farm
DESCRIPTION:Fall Homeschool Day at Gibbs Farm!\nThursday\, September 17th\, 2026\n11:00am – 3:00pm\nRegister \nSpend the day at the Gibbs Farm historic site and learn about the seasonal life of the Dakota of Cloud Man’s village and the early Minnesota farm life of Jane & Heman Gibbs. On going activities include visiting the historic farmhouse\, replica bark lodge\, and a tipi. One-room schoolhouse lessons will take place several times throughout the day. \nThe gift shop will also be open specially for this day! \nPlease note that parents must accompany their children at all times while on the historic site. Picnic tables will be available for picnic lunches (please note that there is no food for sale on site). \n$8 per student 3 and older \n$5 per adult \nChildren 2 and under are free of charge \nPre-register or pay on the day of the event. Last Entry is at 2pm. \nRefunds are available up to one week prior to the event. In the event of inclement weather and the cancellation of the event\, refunds will be automatically issued to those who have pre-registered.

DESCRIPTION:2026 Volunteer Days\nGibbs Farm\nSelect Friday Mornings at 10:00AM and Tuesday Evenings at 5:30PM\nFree to Sign Up\nHelp us tackle our to-do list! Volunteer at Gibbs Farm on select Friday Mornings and Tuesday Evenings during the 2026 season. The outdoor projects change weekly usually planting\, watering\, weeding\, harvesting\, light landscape and orchard projects. \nRegister Here \nProjects are best for ages 6+ and are great for students\, families\, small groups (workplace teams\, clubs\, scouts\, 4-H ect.) and individuals. Children under 12 should sign up with an adult. \nNo experience necessary! Projects will be lead by Gibbs Farm staff and all supplies\, materials and instructions are provided. \nHave a question or need to cancel your registration? Email Clare @ RCHS.com. \nDay of Instructions: \nVolunteers should park in the Gibbs Farm public parking lot of Cleveland Ave and enter the site through the wooden gates\, Clare will meet you there!\nPlease wear close-toed shoes and clothes you can work in.\nThere are bathrooms and a drinking fountain with water bottle filler on site.

DESCRIPTION:Gibbs Farm’s 5th Annual Steampunk Halloween Trick-or-Treat Trail\n2097 West Larpenteur Avenue\, Falcon Heights\, MN\nSaturday\, October 24\, 2026\n2:30pm-7:00pm\nRegistration opens on Monday\, September 28 at 10:00am\n\nA little bit of magic\, a little bit of steam power\, and plethora of candy! \nJoin Gibbs Farm for our 5th Annual Steampunk Halloween Trick or Treat Trail. For one day a year\, the Gibbs Farm historic site is transformed! Visit the twisting stacks of books at the library\, match wits with a traveling magician\, make friends with a fairy\, and decide whether or not to throw your lot in with some mischievous sky pirates. Enjoy live music from Light of the Moon band! \nThe start of the trail is timed\, approximately 40 minutes long\, and ends at the exit of the site. Prior registration for an entry timeslot is required. The trail is family friendly and intended for all ages! This event is sponsored by Blaze Credit Union. \nPlease note there will be no admittance from 4:25pm-5:00pm. \n$15 for trick-or-treaters 3 and older\n$5 for trick-or-treaters 2 and under (no charge for infants)\n$10 for non-trick-or-treating adults.\nMembers of the Ramsey County Historical Society receive 10% off tickets
