Visit the farm animals\, take a stroll around the restored prairie\, grab a cheesesteak from the Philly Station food truck and listen to live music from Light of the Moon! \nNEW FOR 2026: Learn about traditional uses for Minnesota plants with experts from NATIFS (North American Traditional Indigenous Food Systems) and find out how they are working to restore tribal food sovereignty! \nGibbs Farm is located at 2097 Larpenteur Ave W\, Falcon Heights\, MN 55113. Parking is free in our lot off Cleveland Avenue. Enter Gibbs Farm through the small white building just south of the parking lot. \nAdmission is $10 for adults\, $7 for seniors\, $5 for children 4-16\, free for children 3 and under. \nRCHS Members visit Gibbs Farm for free! Raised on a farm in Iowa\, Bob Dahm was born with the family’s green thumb. Years of witnessing the effect of pesticides on his community’s health led Bob to his life’s passion: organic agriculture. In the 80s\, Bob oversaw the shift to organic gardening methods for a playground at a local children’s hospital. \nHosted by Gibbs Farm’s very own Clare Holte\, guests will enjoy a conversation on organic gardening methods and history\, followed by a walking Q&A session around the farmstead.

SUMMARY:Beeswax Candles with Pressed Flowers
DESCRIPTION:Third Annual Winter Candle making \nTickets $17 ($15 RCHS Members) \nGet Tickets Here \n  \nAdd some light to the darkest part of the year! Each participant will dip a set of large taper beeswax candles and decorate them with pressed herbs\, flowers and foliage gathered this year at Gibbs. These candles smell amazing\, burn steadily and are perfect for winter celebrations and heartfelt gifts. The project will take about 45 minutes register for a timeslot at 11 am\, 12pm\, 2pm or 3pm. \n  \nMaking hand dipped candles has been part of our programming for many years\, and it is one of the most memorable parts of our field trip program. Gibbs Farm volunteers and staff will lead you through this project and will have everything you need to get creative with natural materials. \n  \nThis very cool project involves hot wax and timing! All children under 14 need to be accompanied by an adult. DESCRIPTION:Gibbs Farm’s 4th Annual Steampunk Halloween Trick-or-Treat Trail\n2097 West Larpenteur Avenue\, Saint Paul\, MN 55113\nSaturday\, October 25th\, 2025\n3:00 PM-7:15 PM\n\nRegister Here\n\n$15 for trick-or-treaters 3 and older\n$5 for trick-or-treaters 2 and under (no charge for infants)\n$10 for non-trick-or-treating adults.\nMembers of the Ramsey County Historical Society receive 10% off tickets\n\nTake a dash of Secret Garden magic\, sprinkle in a little Jules Verne-esque imagination\, and combine with a generous array of candy and you’ve got a Trick-or-Treating adventure for folks of all ages! Visit the twisting stacks of books at the library\, match wits with a traveling magician\, make friends with a fairy\, and decide whether or not to throw your lot in with some mischievous sky pirates. Enjoy live music from Light of the Moon band! \nThe start of the trail is timed\, approximately 40 minutes long\, and ends at the exit of the site. Prior registration for an entry timeslot is required. The trail is family friendly and intended for all ages! \nTimed Entry from 3:00 PM–5:00 PM & 5:30 PM–7:15 PM \nPlease note that there will be no admittance from 5-5:30pm.
