DESCRIPTION:Friends of Fort Snelling Annual Meeting\nwith Stephen Osman\nYou are cordially invited to join the Friends of Fort Snelling for their Annual Meeting\, being held on Sunday\, September 10th\, at the Historic Fort Snelling Visitor’s Center. This date is significant because it marks the founding of Fort Snelling in 1820. \nThe featured keynote presenter will be author Stephen Osman. He will discuss the role of Fort Snelling as a major military station in Minnesota during the Civil War\, and present his new book\, Fort Snelling and the Civil War\, released this spring by the Ramsey County Historical Society.
