This article consists of excerpts from interviews with seven men from the St. Paul area who were among the many British and American soldiers, sailors, and airmen who fought the Germans at Normandy in France on D-Day, June 6, 1944. Those interviewed were William D. Bowell, Robert T. Carr, Russell W. Anderson, Arlo H. Knowles, William A. Davies, Edward Berg, and Robert T. Alberg.
