Minnesota’s first state fish hatchery occupied an obscure angle of St. Paul, just south of Indian Mounds Park near the railroad yards and, later, the sewage treatment plant. For a few decades it was not only important, but also a tourist destination. Time passed it by and now only the highly educated eye could spy any trace of it.
