Ramsey County Historical Society Welcomes Brandie Macdonald as Executive Director
Ramsey County Historical Society (RCHS) is proud to announce the appointment of Brandie Macdonald as its new Executive Director. An experienced museum and nonprofit leader, Brandie brings deep experience in museums, nonprofits and fostering cultures rooted in equity, inclusion, and purpose.
With her experience working in museums, higher education, nonprofits along with her experience and passion for uplifting marginalized voices, Brandie is uniquely positioned to support and empower our Board, staff and community to build on RCHS’s past successes and lead us into the future.
“From the very first conversation with Brandie, it was clear she carries the kind of wisdom, heart, and energy that RCHS needs in this moment,” said Betsy Keyes, co-chair of the RCHS Search Committee and incoming Board Chair. “Her leadership is grounded in deep values and experience, and she brings both clarity and care to her work. I truly believe Brandie is the leader who can honor the legacy of RCHS while boldly guiding it into its next chapter.
