From Spam to Tater Tot hotdish, Minnesotans have their unique and diverse traditions centered around food. Join author Patrice Johnson as she explores how Swedish immigrant recipes and eating patterns help define our state’s cuisine and make mealtimes more interesting for all of us.
Patrice Johnson is the author of Land of 10,000 Plates: Stories and Recipes from Minnesota and Jul: Swedish American Holiday Traditions. She lives in Roseville, Minnesota and teaches Nordic cooking classes throughout the Twin Cities and beyond.
