Victorian Valentines 21+
February 12 @ 5:30 pm - 7:30 pm
$30Celebrate Valentine’s Day by crafting a Victorian-style masterpiece while enjoying some themed drinks and snacks. Bring your valentine, a pal or come alone! We are bringing out the punch bowls and will have a cocktail and non-alcoholic version for you to sip as we go over some valentines day fun facts.
Our maximalist layered paper valentines will be inspired by Esther Howland the “Mother of American Valentines” and “New England’s First Career Woman.” She started the very successful New England Valentines Co which offered a handcrafted alternative between expensive European valentines and mass printed cards.
We will have an extensive variety of paper, lace, sequins and collage materials, plus a list of victorian poems and the visual inspo you need to create something very cool.
