2026 Farm-to-Table Dinner with Local Effort and Chris Koza
Ramsey County Historical Society members gathered at Gibbs Farm for an unforgettable evening celebrating the height of the summer harvest through food, music, and community. Against the farm’s historic backdrop, guests enjoyed a beautifully curated three-course dinner prepared by chefs Weston Smith and Catherine Olsen of Local Effort, whose menus highlighted the freshest seasonal ingredients sourced from local gardens and regional producers.
The evening began with a relaxed courtyard happy hour featuring complimentary wine and beer, as live music from acclaimed singer-songwriter Chris Koza created the perfect soundtrack for the warm summer night. As guests explored the gardens and connected with fellow members, the event showcased the rich agricultural traditions that continue to inspire the farm today.
Each thoughtfully crafted course reflected Local Effort’s commitment to Midwestern ingredients, blending refined culinary techniques with the warmth of home cooking. Koza’s Americana-inspired performance added to the welcoming atmosphere, complementing the natural beauty of the setting and the shared appreciation for local history and craftsmanship.
