Ethel Stewart Luncheon
Ethel Stewart Heritage Society’s Annual Luncheon
A wonderful time was had by all at Como Pavilion for the annual Ethel Stewart Heritage Society Luncheon. With beautiful spring weather, society members were treated to catered lunch from Cossetta Eventi and a presentation from Andrea Swensson about her book Deeper Blues. Andrea’s talk of Ramsey County music history and family ties brought laughter and tears together. RCHS was honored to have the event sponsored by Mairs & Power.
The Ethel Stewart Heritage Society was named after the remarkable Ethel Stewart, who led the pursuit to save Gibbs Farm in 1949. It recognizes donors that have included the Ramsey County Historical Society in their estate plans or have given $10,000 or more in their lifetimes. The staff of RCHS loves this annual event, as it allows us to show the members gratitude and share our projects.
