Twenty Five Untold Stories of St. Paul, Minnesota 2018
2018 [2019.5]This collection of interviews that were conducted by Carol L. MacAllister in 2018 with residents of St. Paul, Minnesota, as part of a photo essay book to be created by photographer, Hans Mourtizen. MacAllister interviewed ten individuals on a variety of topics, thus creating these 25 Stories.
Interviews were conducted with David DeRusha, Bruce Faribault, John G. (Jack) Hoeschler, Ruby Hunt, George Latimer, Perrin Brown Lilly, John E. Mannillo, Peggy Palumbo, Jane Prince, and John H. Yust. Each interviewee signed their interview transcript.

University United Collection
1906-2011 [2013.59]Materials includes minutes, correspondence, financial documentation, newspaper articles and subject files of this nonprofit, tax exempt organization, established in 1981 to facilitate commercial economic development along University Avenue. The bulk of the material dates from the late 1980s through 2008. Topics include economic development, particularly of Asian businesses; housing; crime; and development of light rail Green Line transit corridor. Records of predecessor and allied organizations such as the Hamline Midway Local Development Company and the University Midway Development Company are included, as well records on the development of International Marketplace and Dickerman Park, both on University Avenue.

Villaume Collection
[2020.60]A collection of books (40), archival materials (125 folders), and photographs (225) documenting the Villaume Box and Lumber Company (Saint Paul) production of World War II gliders. These gliders were used in conflicts including D-Day (France), Operation Varsity (Germany), and Operation Market Garden (Netherlands). Documents regarding the reconstruction of a CG-4A glider are also included with copies of original diagrams from the 1940s.

1939-2014 [2013.30]Material consists of largely consists of newspaper clippings from the Pioneer Press, St. Paul Voice, Community Reporter, La Voz Latina, and the Star Tribune. In addition, the collection features magazine articles, newsletters, correspondence pertaining to the history of District 3, the West Side of St. Paul.

1921-1994 [2010.32]Material consists of paper documents; typewritten, handwritten and printed, and newspaper clippings, ribbons, party favors (paper, glue, wire, plastic), flyers, bound materials, and greeting cards.

1895-1910 [2010.38]Material consists of handwritten personal entries reflecting life events, pay and addresses during his work and membership in a carpenter’s union, as well as commercial facts related to postage, population, railroads, etc.
